Activities for children
The Hebron-France Association for Cultural Exchanges offers free activities for children in its Center located in the Old city.
The Center contains a library, a toy library, a room for the manual activities, a yard for the outdoors activities and a computer lab. Every day, approximately 70 children come to this Center right after school, meaning from 11:30 am.
5 animators, hired by the association, are present to supervise the children.
Since 2008, every Saturday; the association organizes free school support classes (in Arabic, mathematics and English) for 30 children (15 girls and 15 boys) in 3rd and 4th grades.
Since September 2010, we also host the school of music of the Edward Said Conservatory: are offered classes of violin, oud, piano…
Every summer, the association organizes summer camp for approximatly 200 childrens of the Old City.
